Services & process

Help with the application, the follow-up, and everything between.

One clear process for every family

Request a review before you pay.

Angela reviews the location, circumstances, and anticipated work before confirming a fixed service price. Submitting a request is free, and no payment is collected until you choose to proceed.

How pricing works

A written price, then a secure payment link.

Tell Angela where service is needed and what is changing. After reviewing the request, she confirms the proposed scope and price in writing. If you approve it, she emails a secure Square payment link. Payment is required before consulting work begins.

Request a private review

If the scope later changes, Angela discusses and confirms any revised price before additional work is performed.

The engagement may include

What families need to know

Medicare and long-term care are not the same.

Coverage depends on the individual situation. These points explain why families often begin planning before skilled coverage changes.

Skilled care is limited

When Medicare requirements are met, Part A may cover short-term skilled nursing facility care for up to 100 days in a benefit period. Daily coinsurance can begin after day 20.

Custodial care is different

Medicare generally does not pay for long-term custodial care when that is the only care needed. Families may need to explore MassHealth or another payment path.

MassHealth needs documentation

An application may require proof of income, assets, insurance, citizenship or status, and long-term-care information. If approved, a nursing-facility resident may have a monthly patient-paid amount.

How the process works

From uncertainty to a plan.

01

Telephone assessment

Discuss the care situation, consider the potential eligibility path, and identify the documents likely to be needed.

02

Document meeting

Review the records with the family and determine the action plan for the application.

03

Preparation and filing

When the required information is ready, Angela prepares and submits the long-term-care MassHealth application.

04

Representation and follow-up

Angela communicates with MassHealth, gathers additional information, and advocates with the nursing facility when appropriate.
